Resting in the Echoes - part 3

Here is my final set of pictures from Saturday's Gettysburg visit.  The grey-white skies presented a challenge for landscape photos, so I chose to convert them all to b&w -- except the first one, in which I left some color because I was amused by the fire hydrant's bright colors echoing the red tin roof.

There are a few echoes in this set; if not in nature's growth, then in the mist and low clouds that prompted me to consider the horrific sight this landscape must have been on July 4, 1863, when Confederate forces were retreating in a torrential downpour as both armies' wounded lay waiting for help and their dead lay in need of burial.
